Welcome to the Summer 2026 Edition Newsletter-

As the days grow longer and the energy of summer fills our community, we are excited to continue creating opportunities that empower youth, strengthen families, and celebrate the rich legacy of Jenkins. This season is especially meaningful as we welcome scholars to the Jenkins Youth & Family Village Freedom School, where young learners are engaging in literacy, leadership development, cultural enrichment, and creative expression. Through the Freedom School experience, students are building confidence, expanding their knowledge, and discovering the power of their voices.

Throughout the summer, Jenkins remains committed to education, heritage, and community engagement. From Freedom School and youth development programs to cultural events and community gatherings, we are proud to provide spaces where learning, leadership, and opportunity can flourish.
